Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2010
Fecha de fin: 01/01/2023

Description

The National Agri-Food Program (PRONAGRO), under the supervision of SAG, promotes productive linkages through agri-food chains in order to foster agribusinesses with higher value-added and increase competitiveness and income for producers. It facilitates and manages National Chain Committees to harmonize, align, and guide the actions of different links and actors. Agri-food chains achieve comparative advantages through improved competitiveness and utilization of dynamic advantages, as well as the development and sustainability of productivity levels. Therefore, the value chain approach encompasses commercial interactions and service provision among different actors. The current functioning chains by sector include: avocado, beekeeping, bovine (meat, milk), cocoa, onion, citrus fruits, staple grains, oil palm, potato, allspice, pineapple, tilapia, and shrimp.
